The JBG Cos. and Walton Street Capital LLC have priced condos at their remake of the former Atlantic Plumbing building in North Shaw from the upper $300,000s to $1.9 million.
The project is expected to deliver in spring 2015. McWilliams/Ballard is marketing the condos.
The mixed-use residential and retail project, at 2030 8th Street, N.W., will include 62 one- and two-bedroom condos with public and private rooftop terraces, a fitness center and ground-floor restaurants.
The building’s makeover was designed by New York-based Morris Adjimi Architects.
This summer, the Washington Project for the Arts signed on as a tenant at Atlantic Plumbing, with plans to relocate next year from its current home at 10 Eye St. S.W.
The Atlantic Plumbing project, which broke ground in the fall of 2013, also includes a larger, adjacent building at 807 V St. N.W., that will be anchored by Landmark Theaterand include more than 300 luxury apartments and additional retail.
