McWilliams Ballard announced today that the firm has sold and settled another condominium building in Falls Church, VA.

Renaissance 2230 is an 10 story, 332 residence building located at 2230 George C. Marshall Drive in Falls Church, VA ; just a short distance from all that the Tysons Corner area has to offer. This condominium conversion project was developed by Draper and Kramer, from Chicago and DC based Carlyle Group.

One and two bedroom homes, some with dens, were priced from the $200,000’s to $500,000’s. “Renaissance 2230 provides an array of services and amenities for its residences, perfect for the metropolitan condominium purchaser. It was the first project of its kind in the Falls Church area and was very well received; resulting in a steady sales pace and eventual sell out.”

On Saturday April 21, 2007, McWilliams Ballard hosted a Metropolitan Open House featuring their 30 Virginia condominium communities.

The event was held from 12-3 pm at Guarapo in the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington, VA.

“We wanted to take the guess work and leg work out of condo shopping for our prospective purchasers. What better way to showcase all 30 of our VA communities under one roof”, says Niki K Piersall, Vice President at McWilliams|Ballard. “We had over 500 guests attend the event on Saturday and couldn’t be more pleased. It is refreshing to see buyers move off the sidelines and back into the market.”

Each community displayed brochures as well as renderings and floorplans to help educate their potential buyers allowing for an informed buying decision. Lenders from George Mason Mortgage and Countrywide Home Loans were on hand to answer any financial questions.
